A good space to be in

The first question that crossed the mind when we stepped into the 1,100 sq feet store that housed Turquoise, near Lilavati Hospital was why the need to shift after sitting pretty for five years in their Perry Cross Road address. “Well, the rent was increased three-fold, so we were forced to scout for a new location. But we are happy since this place offers us more space, which in turn enables us to introduce numerous other products,” reasons Bosco D’Mello, Turqoise’s owner.

Among the new entrants is a range of fun and funky terracotta products, large Gothic-styled mirrors, classic furniture pieces that exude an old-world charm, crafted metal lamps and contemporary drift wood items. “We also customise a lot of stuff. People can suggest preferences and we will get it made, accordingly,” adds D’Mello.u00a0The Guide was spoilt for choice, but here’s our pick of four best products that you could grace your living room with.u00a0
