I recently broke up with my girlfriend. We used to fight so much that I thought it was best to part ways
Dear Diana,
I recently broke up with my girlfriend. We used to fight so much that I thought it was best to part ways. She suggested time off each other for a while. She even told me that she would take me back, but I ended up fighting on this issue as well. Now it has been a month, and there is no contact with her, but I regret my decision. I miss her a lot. I tried calling her and sending text messages, but she has not responded. What should I do to get her back?

Dear Ravish,
Break ups are the hardest thing. If you don’t want to lose her forever, win her back. Before that you need to control your temper. It appears that you have serious anger management issues. It is obvious that she will play difficult and want the upper hand after what you have done to her. So when you decide to get back, try and work for a healthy relationship.
Dear Diana,
I have lost contact with all my friends from my school and college days. I started working immediately after college and would never have time to catch up with them. Gradually they started distancing me. Later after marriage and motherhood, I had no time for any ‘me’ time. Now that my daughter has grown up, I miss my friends. In fact I don’t have any. My hubby has still maintained contact with his pals. I now feel I should have kept in touch with them. How do I be friends with them again?
— Nirmala
Dear Nirmala,
Relocate your pals either through social media or people who know them. Since they are in the same age group, they too may have been busy with their lives. You need to put an effort to cultivate friendships or else risk losing them. These pals are for keeps, so you can just begin again from where you left.
