Dear Diana

Dear Diana,
I am 20 years old and commute to college by local train. I am in my final year. I usually take the same fast train every morning. I have been noticing this guy for a while now on the platform.

He also takes the same train. As the ladies and gents first class compartments are next to each other, we find ourselves waiting for the train often standing next to each other. Sometimes when he is late, I often skip trains, waiting for him. I think he does the same as he is always there when I am running late. I feel a connect with him. I am keen to get to know him. I do not know his name or what he does, but I cannot get him out of my head. He appears to be working somewhere from the way he dresses. It has been five months since I have developed feelings for him. What do I do?

Dear Shama,
You have no clue who this man is, where he comes from, whether he is married or single, but you have fallen for him. You are attracted to him, but chances are that he may have not even noticed you. You are assuming he is waiting for you. There are multitudes of people getting in and out of a train at a railway station. You happened to notice him and take a fancy to him. He is a stranger, so you need to be wary of him. Waiting for him on days when he is running late is a definite no, you will end up missing your lecture and losing attendance. Soon, you will be out of college and perhaps stop commuting. You will then forget this man. Let him remain your fantasy.
