Dear Diana,
My girlfriend is a quiet and reserved person. Though she is caring and loving, I feel she is a boring person. Her life revolves around her home and her part-time job where she teaches in a coaching class. She does not step out and feels that TV and her smartphone link her with the world. She will not do anything until she is forced to. She is those types who will not budge till she is pushed. Often I wonder if I have made a right choice. I really don't know whether we have a future together. Earlier, I was in a relationship with another girl who was outgoing and loved to socialise. But she was too demanding and high maintenance, so I broke off with her. This girl is the opposite of her. She loves to do things in her quiet way. I want to break up, but don't have the courage to do so. I do not want to hurt her either. What do I do? Should I dump her?

Dear Shikhar,
First of all stop making comparisons between your ex and current girlfriend. She is of a reserved nature, so she prefers to be homebound and do things in her own quiet way. May be this is the life she is leading, so why don't you try and draw her out of her shell? Try to make the relationship lively and spice it up. You take her for granted and don't tell her what you feel. Talk about your feelings for her. Tell her exactly how you feel about her lifestyle. It is up to you to make her loosen up and make her of a cheerful disposition. Chances are that she is so caught up with daily chores at home that she has no time for anything else except her work at a coaching class. First find out what makes her behave in such a manner and only after getting an answer decide your future course of action.
