Paintstorm gets creative people together to party and paint

There is little space in the city to enjoy creative pursuits. For those who wish to try out their first strokes on canvas, there is always the trepidation of being judged.

To break away from this limitation and provide an opportunity for the amateur to free themselves of their fears, Paintstorm, an inititative to organise creative gatherings is hosting collective painting events. This week’s theme is Pokemon, where each participant comes and paints one favourite pokemon. Anchal Bubber Mehta, one of the co-founders of the initiative, says that the idea is to get creative people together. “As the Pokemon craze is high we are hoping to get both adults and children,” she says.

Mehta, who started the initiative a year ago, says that many people have bonded over their creative gatherings and attend all their events.
