For those who prefer to spend their Sundays with short bursts of cine inspiration instead of three-hour spectacles, here's something to look forward to. Catch Syaahi, Paandiaatam (HopScotch) and Babysteps at a children's special screening this Sunday.
Syaahi
Syaahi (2015), which received a special mention at the 63rd National Awards last year, is a take on sense and sensibilities through an innocent mind. It has been directed by Varun Tandon. Paandiaatam (2015), directed by Raghav Ganesh, traces the journey of two adolescent boys who escape from a juvenile prison to become gangsters. Babysteps (2012) by Prakash Ramchandani reflects how certain actions by parents have an adverse effect on their kids.

"The plan is to connect the community of filmmakers who put in their blood and sweat to make short films on a minimal budget. This is a platform for them to explain their ideas to the audience," says Balraj Ghai of Tuning Fork, the venue for the event.
