Where can you show pomp, chiseled bodies, flowing wine, designer dresses, clash of sanskaar and yet lots and lots of emotions and drama? No marks for guessing. It is indeed the high-profile Indian marriage, which Bollywood adores. In this glittering universe, the runaway bride is a thing of the past; however, the runaway organiser seems an imminent possibility.

The writers say this was a challenge they wanted to take up writing for an audience with a low attention span but were excited about a medium without censorship.

“We write for feature films but then any writer is happy to explore different mediums. The medium of cinema has its limitations like censorship. In this video, we have written being true to the way three guys will speak with each other,” reasons Siddharth-Garima.

The writers, however, are well aware of the needs of the Internet. “Here we are dealing with the youth and our competition is just a click away,” they say and add, “But it all depends on how much you are enjoying the process of writing. If you enjoy, so will the viewer and we had a blast,” they say.

That the duo was earlier working for radio helped understand an audience with a low attention span. And the Internet, they believe, is the future of entertainment. “In this medium we are not bound by limitations of time. We can catch any show at our own decided time and space,” they say. The current proliferation of web series, they however think, will die leaving behind the good ones that are etched in memory. “As in other format only those shows that have original interesting content will survive,” the writer duo sign off.
