Mumbai Food: Party with your pet at this new restaurant in Vile Parle

Pet owners, if you've had to leave your pooch behind each time you've gone out dining, due to no-pets policy at restaurants and cafes, this bit of news will bring cheer. ZooBar, a pet-friendly eatery, plans to organise a pupper party this weekend. Expect a fun affair, where your furry friends will be pampered by groomers and provided basic training sessions by experts. Apart from the fun, pets will also be treated to a specially curated menu that includes boiled eggs, rice, mashed potatoes, and a surprise element that'll have your pets drooling. The eatery will also be treating guests to free beer.

"We strive to create a pet-friendly environment where not only can guests spend quality time with pets, but pets can engage with others of their kind as well," says Nishant Joshi, founder, ZooBar.

Joshi adds that he always imagined ZooBar as a place where people ditch their chairs and brace the floors while playing with pets. "With every pet party, that is what I strive to achieve," says Joshi.

The party will not be limited to pet parents alone, as those who simply want to spend time with animals are also welcome. "Although the main idea is to engage with animals and to provide them with a safe and open space, we also want to reach out to many and spread the message of pet adoption," concludes Joshi.
