Starting today, the Palm Expo and Music Expo will showcase the latest innovations in music, lighting and recording industry.
“It’s a great opportunity for music professionals to catch the best of the stage performance industry — from instruments to the latest audio and lighting technologies,” believes Anil Chopra, managing director, Diversified Communications, the organisers of the two expos.

Live it up
While the Palm Expo will focus primarily on sound engineers, the Music Expo will feature talks, lectures and performances from leading experts from the audio and music industry including a special section, Music Works, by True School of Music, which will introduce students to various career options in the music industry.

There’s also the Harman Live Arena, a special stage designed to showcase 20 new professional sound and lighting equipments from Harman. “It will also have well-known artistes like Sivamani, Ranjit Barot and Louiz Banks among others performing live over the three days at the event,” says Prashant Govindan, Director — India Operations, Harman Professional.

Both expos have a free entry policy, where the first two days will be restricted only to participants from the audio and music industry, and students keen on a career in the same. The event will open to the public on Day 3. Chopra reasons: “It’s a trade expo that is meant for professionals from the music industry, or those eager to pursue a career in this field.”
