Whether she is a human rights activist, a talented individual, a professional, a problem solver or a homemaker if her work deserves applause, here is a chance to get it recognised. The Fempowerment Women Achievers is inviting applications for its annual awards that recognise successful individuals from various fields.

Nominations for the awards are open to all, and anyone can nominate a woman above 21 years of age. “It could be your mother, sister, wife, a colleague, a friend, or a teacher — any woman whose work deserves recognition, and who has been an inspiration to others,” says Kiren Shrivastav, founder, Fempowerment Awards.
Currently in its third year, the awards are presented in 16 categories including literature, science, art, journalism and business among others. There’s also a special category for men nominated by women, who have done exceptional work for women empowerment, and another one for homemakers. The process of selection involves a team of experts, who review nominations to validate the claims made in the application.
The accepted applications are vetted by a team of juries who select candidates for the main jury members for final selection. Applications close on February 20.
