“The idea was to integrate a design experience within an existing social fabric of the city. What I realised when I was trying to promote design in India was that design can only be promoted by creating a 360-degree experience and not by being isolated in a store,” says Ganatra, who has launched the retail space inside the The Little Door, a café that doubles up as a shopping destination during the day and goes back to its bar avatar at night. “So, people can eat, shop, spend time, all at the same place,” she shares.
