“Some of the highlights include a large oil painting by MF Husain in six panels from 1958, and a Manjit Bawa painting from his famous Circus series. The most rare and oldest item on sale is a Gandharan relief panel depicting the Buddha, dated to the 2nd or 3rd century. Another unusual item is a portrait of a friend by VS Gaitonde, the leading paintings,” says Dadiba Pundole, founder, Pundole’s.
