The Early Days: Humble Beginnings

After becoming a Chartered Accountant in 2002, Milan’s journey began at M/s Mukund Shah & Associates, where he worked as a retainer under the guidance of CA Mukund Shah. It was here that he first experienced the foundations of accountancy, auditing, and advisory in real-world scenarios. This mentorship shaped his understanding of the profession and instilled in him the principles of diligence and accuracy.

Following his tenure at M/s Mukund Shah & Associates, Milan took a leap by becoming a partner in a small-sized firm. This firm would soon merge with the BDO Group, marking his first exposure to large-scale operations. It was during this period that Milan began developing a clear vision for what a successful Chartered Accountants firm could achieve, a vision that would only grow stronger with time.

Mentorship by Mr. Shailesh Haribhakti: Shaping Philosophy and Vision

During his tenure in BDO, Mr. Shailesh Haribhakti has been his mentor and guiding force. Mr.Shailesh Haribhakti’s insights into ethical practices, client-centered growth, and adaptive strategies laid the groundwork for Milan`s own approach to leadership. In December 2012, he was approached by CA Poorvi Chitalia and CA Suchita Shah to join NPV as a partner. Accepting their offer, Milan officially became a partner on August 15, 2014. This milestone marked the beginning of a transformative phase for both Milan and NPV, setting the stage for his visionary impact on the firm. By 2017, Milan’s expertise and leadership led to his appointment as Managing Partner, where he initiated significant advancements that have shaped NPV into the global consultancy it is today.

After joining NPV as a partner, Milan set his sights on expanding NPV’s capabilities and footprint. His strategic decisions included diversifying the firm’s services to provide full- spectrum solutions. By fostering key partnerships and leveraging his managerial skills, Milan grew the team from a modest 10 people to a formidable workforce of over 250, including 12 partners, 20 Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), and 25 qualified Chartered Accountants across multiple branches in India and abroad.

NPV now operates across India with 8 branches - Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Amravati, Bharuch, Gurugram, Jaipur, New Delhi, Pune, and Vadodara. It has expanded its reach internationally in the USA, Canada, and Dubai as well .
 
NPV’s landmark expansions was in 2017 when CA Ritesh Adatiya initiated the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and valuation services, adding new dimensions to the firm’s capabilities.
