Despite returning to the city from her Australian sojourn almost a month ago, Mithila Palkar was only able to return home to stay with her grandparents, a few days ago. "While I wasn't told to do so [by the authorities], and was healthy, I decided to act responsibly and live alone for 14 days. I didn't want to infect my grandparents," says the actor in an exclusive chat with mid-day. To kill her boredom, she is binge-watching some exciting shows. Pushpavalli: "Among my favourites is Pushpavalli season 2. I love [creator] Sumukhi [Suresh], and her style of humour", says Palkar. The two-season series stars stand-up comedian Sumukhi Suresh in the lead role with Manish Anand and Kenny Sebastian in supporting roles.
Big Little Lies: The self-confessed fan of Reese Witherspoon has also spent hours watching the second edition of Big Little Lies. The 2017 American drama television series based on the novel of the same name tells the story of five women who become embroiled in a murder investigation.
Friends: Friends is a must-see on her list. The sitcom makes for great viewing for Mithila and is a perfect recipe to kill her boredom.
Modern Family: The star also adds Modern Family to her list. Modern Family is an American television mockumentary family sitcom which first aired in 2009.
Fleabag: Fleabag is a British comedy-drama television series and tells us the story of a free-spirited but angry and confused young woman in London. "I love Phoebe Waller-Bridge and hence recommend Fleabag," Palkar says.
