The unconventional story of 2019, Broken But Beautiful2, made its way to the audience' heart late last year on ALTBalaji. And now, the makers are coming back with its second season.

In an interview with mid-day, Vikram Massey said, "With the first season, we tapped into a niche audience base. In this season, it is the script that is the biggest forte. The story is unique, the tonality, unconventional. It is layered."

Vikram Massey further added, "It's an urban story because relationships in fast-paced cities have complexities that aren't often delved into. People have loved the story."

"I can't go about wanting to please everyone. I stand by what we have. One must have faith in the story. Cinema is meant to help us escape from morbid and mundane lives, but it is also a reflection of society," said Vikrant Massey revealing his character choices.

Vikrant also stated, "I never looked at a story and thought it should have a happy ending. In fact, what makes a show relatable is knowing that not everyone gets a happy ending in their relationships. There are unfinished romances."
