Speaking about his return on TV Zain says, "I was on a break from television because I had other things in mind. When I was approached for 'Bekaboo,' since it's a show set by Ekta Kapoor the queen of television and even the channel wanted me, I decided to do it with my whole heart."
His role has negative shades and the actor admits he is enjoying the change. "I love doing negative and intense roles, it isn't a genre I have attempted before. I love the dialogues which are not pure Hindi but it's interesting."
Although he is playing a cameo, Zain clarifies it is an important part, "The story revolves around me. The initial part is about Shivangi (Joshi) and my characters, how we fall in love and the story unfolds."
The actor also played a fun game with mid-day.com, when quizzed about how he reacts when stuck in Mumbai's traffic he says, "Being a Delhiite I have roadrage in me but I try to be a pari and not use cuss words."
The actor adds that he gets cranky on a bad hair day and when he can't order his favourite food, he just makes it himself.
