As he entered Bigg Boss 13, Paras Chabra acquired the tag of 'Sanskari Playboy' in the show. He slowly became one of the strong contestants of the season.
On the personal front, before entering Bigg Boss 13, Paras Chhabra was in a relationship with TV actress Akanksha Puri, who made her Bollywood debut with Madhur Bhandarkar's Calendar Girls. During the show, Paras revealed that he made a tattoo on his hand forcefully after his girlfriend Akanksha Puri forced him to get her name inked on his wrist.
And within the same period, Paras started falling for his fellow contestant Mahira Sharma in the Bigg Boss house. The couple soon started making news for their cosy moments inside the house.
In one of the tasks, Bigg Boss had invited the contestants' loved ones. For Paras, his mother entered the house and had a heart-to-heart talk with him. She warned him to maintain a distance with Mahira and reiterated the fact that she is not comfortable with their closeness. His girlfriend Akanksha Puri too had expressed her displeasure over their closeness.
The duo shared a very special bond since the very beginning, having supported each other throughout the season and in no time turned into a power couple in the house.
But, he opted out of the finale race and quit the show on its last day by taking Rs 10 lakh cash prize. All six finalists -- Paras, Rashami Desai, Sidharth Shukla, Asim Riaz, Arti Singh and Shehnaz Gill -- were offered the amount to quit the game before the announcement of the winner of the show. Contestants were given 30 seconds to make their decision before pressing the buzzer. And it was Paras who decided to pocket the money and walk out of the house. "Aaya bhi apni marzi se tha, jaana bhi apni marzi se tha," Paras said after taking the cash prize.
Meanwhile, after Bigg Boss 13, Paras and Shehnaaz Gill will be out hunting for soulmates in a new reality show, "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge". In the new show, Shehnaz and Paras will go on a quest to find a suitable life partner. The show will be hosted by Maniesh Paul. Earlier the show was tentatively titled "Shehnaz Ka Swayamvar", and there were speculations that Shehnaz's "close friend" Sidharth Shukla will join her. The makers later roped in two contestants for their show "Mujhse Shaadi Karoge". The show will include various tasks, through which Shehnaz and Paras will choose a suitable partner.
