Things are picking up a solid pace and relationships are being tested to the core inside the house of Bigg Boss 14. The contestants are now figuring out whom to support and whom to stand up against. The one who is seen as a friend turns into a foe in the next moment. With things moving at a rapid pace inside the house, here's a gist of all good, bad, and ugly things that happened in the eleventh week. (All images courtesy: mid-day archives/PR).
The week began with major controversy. Vikas Gupta, also known as the Mastermind was shown the exit door in the weekend. This happened after he got physically violent with fellow housemate Arshi Khan. Vikas, who had entered the on-going season as a challenger, pushed Arshi Khan into the swimming pool. Following which he was told to leave the show as it was against the reality show’s rules to get violent with another contestant.
Earlier this week, both of them were seen at loggerheads with each other. There were several instances when Arshi was seen misbehaving and yelling at Vikas. In another fight, Arshi hit Vikas and the latter responded in a similar fashion following which another Bigg Boss contestant Eijaz Khan had to intervene and stop them. The Bigg Boss had also called them into the confession room and advised them not to indulge in physical fights.
Let's move on to this week's Weekend ka Vaar. The episode saw Salman take stock of the week gone by, and gave interesting tasks to the housemates. The first task had the housemates burst each other's 'galatfahmi ke gubbare'! They all wore balloons on their heads and each housemate had to burst one balloon of a contestant they feel had misunderstood them. Nikki burst Jasmin's bubble who in turn chose to prick Eijaz's balloon. Eijaz, in turn, burst Aly's balloon, and their old friendship seemed to be on the brink of collapse.
Later, Salman Khan decided to play a fun game with all the housemates. Each housemate was called in the confession room where Salman asked them a few questions. If the other housemates didn't agree with the person's answer, they were in for a surprise. Rakhi was the first to go, and she got a surprise for her responses in the form of a boatload of colours!
Salman also remarked that Bigg Boss had filled her maang when a trench filled with red colour was dumped on her. Next up was Rahul, who also got a hilarious dry bath of colours dumped on him.
However, the day didn't end well. In the latter half of the show, we saw Arshi's smart jibe rubbing Salman the wrong way. It all happened when she told Salman: "Mujhe pataa tha aap aayenge aur mujhe zillat ke laddu khilwake rahenge (I knew it you would insult me the moment you arrived)". She obviously means it as a joke, but the comment did not go down well with Salman. He refused to communicate with her, stating that he had always been cordial while interacting with her, and would have expected the same in return.
It was then time to get serious as Rahul Vaidya was back and facing off Salman Khan's tough questions on his unceremonious exit from the show. Standing in the 'katehra', Rahul tried his best to respond to Salman. He asked him whether Rahul faked being homesick, and how could people who voted for him trust him now when he chose to leave the show on a whim? The grilling got pretty intense and it was up to the housemates whether to let Rahul back into the show.
The eleventh week of Bigg Boss grabbed eyeballs also because of the shocking revelations by Kavita Kaushik's husband Ronit Biswas. He accused Abhinav Shukla of having a dark past with Kavita. Last week, he had expressed his feelings on the social media platform. Vikas Gupta was seen informing Abhinav and Rubina about the same.
Kavita Kaushik and her husband Ronit Biswas joined Salman Khan to reveal the truth from their past. Kavita was seen accusing Abhinav of sending her inappropriate and violent messages while Abhinav continued to deny the allegation.
Abhinav, Kavita and Ronit engaged in a verbal spat where they warned each other that they will take the legal route to deal with this once they are outside the house. Listening to both the sides, Salman Khan lost his cool and told both parties that they had made a show of their personal life and it is extremely uncomfortable for all. After listening to Salman, Rubina broke down and started crying.
Tuesday saw the beginning of the dreaded nomination task. In a democratic manner, Bigg Boss asked the housemates gathered around the sofa to mark their fellow contestants with a Rejection stamp who they felt deserved to be nominated for eviction. Rubina was the first one who elected Eijaz for nomination. Aly also stamped Eijaz, so did Jasmin. Abhinav was not far behind and choose Eijaz to be nominated for eviction.
Eijaz and him locked horns and had an argument about the way Eijaz felt about other housemates on the show. Nikki, on the other hand, marked Kashmera as her choice on the heels of an epic fight the duo have had.
Possibly among the fieriest personalities on the show, Nikki and Kashmera finally come head-to-head and had a huge showdown. Neither one refused to back down forcing Manu and other housemates to intervene and tried to calm the duo down.
Wednesday marked the week's Captaincy Task. In this one, the housemates had to play the BB Duck Park. The contestants were divided into batches of 3 to play the task. The first batch consisted of Arshi, Rakhi, Kashmera, and Nikki while Rubina was the Sanchalak. On Bigg Boss’s signal, the contestants, dressed in big duck suit had to pick up the food from the ground.
Arshi, Kashmera, and Rakhi all three made a group and decided that they will not let Nikki win the task. On the other hand, it was Manu who was seen supporting Nikki as Sanchalak Rubina was also seen telling her to not get disqualified in the first round itself.
Soon as the task started, Nikki was surrounded by Kashmera and Arshi while Rakhi picked up the food. When she could not pick up any food because of the block, Nikki lashed out at Kashmera. As per her strategy, she removed her suit and tried to take off Kashmera’s duck suit as well. Rubina intervened and tried her best to ensure that the contestants followed the rules.
The second round in the BB Duck Park continued on Thursday with Aly, Eijaz, Manu, and Abhinav aiming to collect as much duck food so that they could progress towards the next round. Before that action could even start, there was another, different kind of action that was unleashed. In a jovial way, Rubina commented that there were five instead of four ducks in the BB Duck Park! Everyone bursts out laughing on this comment. Arshi felt that Rubina was making fun of her and started to argue with Rubina.
This left Rubina amused. She accused Arshi of just imagining insults as that were not meant for her. Arshi did not agree with it and continued to accuse Rubina who in turn said that there were many people present and the comment could be for any one of them.
Arshi refused to believe that and warned Rubina to never mess with her again. On hearing this, Rubina instead of getting angry, busted into a fit of laughter which angered Arshi even more!
There is always some action on the verge of breaking out in the Bigg Boss house. Just as things seem like they are about to settle, the house and the housemates unleashes a storm of entertainment and drama. Overall, we can say that the eleventh week was about heated arguments, accusations, and fights. This week the contestants tried hard to sort their issues. The growing fight-and-love banter between the contestants also reached a new level.
