Things are picking up a solid pace and relationships are being tested to the core inside the house of Bigg Boss 14. The contestants are all now figuring out whom to support and whom to stand up against. The one who is seen as a friend turns into a foe in the next moment. With the things moving at rapid pace inside the house, here's a gist of all good, bad and ugly things that happened in the seventh week. (All Pictures: mid-day archives/Instagram, Twitter handle of Colors TV/mid-day archives).
For the uninitiated, Rahul Vaidya proposed to Disha Parmar in the sixth week, and the singer is still waiting for her reply. And this was the reason why Salman Khan was in a jovial mood at the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. He was in some fun mood and pulled Vaidya's leg. When the singer informed him that he's yet to get Parmar's reply, Khan joked that she was in Thailand with her boyfriend.
All these leg pullings by Khan left the contestants in splits. After been quizzed by Salman about his lady love, Rahul could be heard speaking that he had never been so nervous. He further said, "I don't understand why it took so long for me to say this to you, will you marry me?"
Unfortunately for some, the Weekend was not good. On Sunday, Shardul Pandit was asked to leave the house. The actor, who had entered as a wild card contestant along with Kavita Kaushik and Naina Singh received the maximum number of nominations and was thus eliminated.
Before entering the controversial reality show, he was heard talking about his financial crisis. Talking about his financial condition in an interview post his eviction, he said, "There is zero (work) as of now. There are many who reached out like Geeta Kapur saying if you need money then let us know. I tell them I need work. Yes, I did get probably the most elegant farewell on Bigg Boss but there is no work. There is genuinely no work. Please spring this that I still need work. I am out of India's biggest reality show and I have no work. I know it doesn't make a very happy headline but that's my truth."
The seventh week gave us a fair amount of fights and arguments. Tuesday began with a bang when Kavita and Jaan locked horns. Kavita responded to Jaan's allegations that she was not being herself and being fake. Kavita, on her part, accused Jaan of having no presence in the Bigg Boss House. Kavita also accused other housemates of forming groups and attacking her. Aly jumped in and said that there are no groups in the house.
Instead, he accused Kavita of trying to make a group with Nikki and said that he had caught them gossiping about him. Jaan backed Aly and said that he had heard Nikki and Kavita talk about Aly in a negative light. He also said that if Eijaz was not a factor, Kavita would have nothing to talk about and gain footage in the Bigg Boss House. While Kavita stood her ground against all the accusations, she finally broke down and in front of Jasmin and said that she should not have entered the Bigg Boss House!
A small trigger over kitchen cleanliness lead to Kavita Kaushik trying to dominate yet again. This didn't go down well with any of the housemates, with Eijaz and Kavita ending up getting into a heated argument. Furious, Kavita pushed Eijaz and the duo got into a massive fight, so much so the others had to intervene to prevent it from turning physical.
Next, Bigg Boss gave contestants a mini-heart attack when it asked Aly choose six people that he wished to nominate, out of which one will be evicted from the Bigg Boss House. Inside the Confession Room, Aly’s first two names seemed obvious. He named Kavita first because he believed that she was picking up unnecessary arguments. His second name was Nikki, as he believed that she was talking behind his back with Kavita. But the third name he took was rather shocking! He named Rubina as someone whom he would like to nominate for eviction! Rubina herself was shocked, considering she and Abhinav consider Aly a close friend.
Election of the new captain became the focus of the house as Bigg Boss pitted Rubina and Rahul against each other. Red Hearts Vs Black Hearts, the two will rule their throne as the King and The Queen. The other housemates had to work as their sevaks and make hearts for their respective team. The one with the maximum number of hearts would be the next captain of the house. The King and Queen could also give them the money allotted to them by Bigg Boss.
The housemates were all seen planning and plotting with each other. Alliances were formed and even Rubina as the Queen and Rahul as the King started to reach out to housemates and promise them that they will pay them handsomely for the hearts that they stick. The task soon took a terrifying turn as housemates were seen tearing down hearts from the walls. Aly, Eijaz and Kavita were at the forefront of all the action.
Eventually, the Queen Rubina and King Rahul ended up having a huge clash. Rubina lost her cool when Rahul blamed her for supporting Abhinav and not playing the game on her own. He said that Abhinav always acted as her advocate and taunted Rubina, who in turn asked him to not talk about her husband and not joke about him. In the end, Aly, Kavita, Jasmin and Eijaz were announced as winner. The four were given another task, where they clashed with each other to claim the captain's title.
In the task, the former four captains had to sit inside their individual boxes. The housemates had to try and disturb them from the outside and force them to come out of the box. The last remaining contestant will be chosen as the captain. Eijaz, on his part, choose Pavitra to take his place inside the box.
As the task began, other housemates tried their best to ensure that the four captaincy hopefuls leave their boxes. From spraying deodorants to throwing water, housemates tried every trick in the book to have the four contestants leave the boxes. Aly was the first contestant to come out of the box. Jaan, on the other hand, got a bit excited about the task and tried his best to ensure that Kavita leaves the box.
He even threatened Kavita that he will throw chilly powder on her! A defiant Kavitra refused to leave the box as the housemates told Jaan to calm down. Rahul, too, was seen trying to force Pavitra out of the box which didn't go well with the housemates who complained that the Sanchalak cannot participate directly in the task.
Overall, we can say that the seventh week was about heated arguments, accusations, and fights. This week the contestants tried hard to sort their issues. The growing fight-and-love banter between the contestants also reached to a new level.
