While the last week was all about heated arguments, accusations, and fights, this week the contestants tried hard to sort their issues. The highlight of the week was some surprise entries, shocking eliminations, and the growing fight-and-love banter between Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia. During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Salman Khan schooled Rahul Vaidya for targeting Jaan Kumar Sanu and calling him a product of nepotism. Salman questioned Rahul for his statement and explained that he was wrong and shouldn't have used those words. Salman also said to Rahul that if a parent does something for their children, it cannot be labelled as nepotism. He further added that if Jaan had become a singer because of nepotism, he would have been more successful than Rahul. Salman also questioned Rahul by asking him if his children decide to pursue singing as a profession, would he call that nepotism? Do you approve Salman's stand?
Next in line was Rubina Dilaik who had been claiming 'Hinsa' all through the fourth week. Salman busted her myth on her game plan and the 'Hinsa' that she claimed her co-contestants indulged in while doing a task. Salman Khan questioned Rubina’s actions and asked her how she made her and others' life difficult by making such tall claims? Rubina tried to explain herself but found herself out of words. Salman explained to Rubina that when she provoked Jasmin to throw water on Rahul, that too was an act of 'Hinsa' which was totally unnecessary. When Rubina continued with her arguments, an exasperated Salman asked Rubina to run the game show on her own and walked out!
The host also noticed a clash between Eijaz and Kavita Kaushik and decided to have the housemates take a call about who among the two is 'Avashyak' and 'Unavashyak' and stamp their faces with a cross! The house was clearly divided, considering Eijaz was considered as non-essential by Abhinav and Nishant, while Kavita's face was stamped as non-essential by Pavitra, Rahul, Shardul, and Nikki. This caused Kavita to lose her cool, using the opportunity to point out that the only interactions she had with Eijaz outside the house was because she considered him as a senior industry colleague. Eijaz and Kavita continued to argue and eventually irked Salman.
Up next, an activity was introduced wherein the housemates had to tag their fellow contestants with the emotions they resonate with. Nikki got to choose who invoked the feeling of 'Prem' for which she elected Jaan. Abhinav was asked to choose the contestant who elicits 'Krodh' within him, and he chose Rahul. Rubina tagged Pavitra as the contestant who constantly surprised her and she was unsure whether to trust her or not. Pavitra on the other hand tagged Kavita as someone who she finds disgusting.
To make things light, Bigg Boss 13 finalist Shehnaaz Kaur Gill entered the Bigg Boss house and interacted with Salman while reminiscing about the good old days. Shehnaz also decided to play cupid in the house and played a 'Prem ka Game' with Eijaz and Pavitra!
At the end of that game, she concluded that there is a strong connection between the duos and decided to send them on a romantic date. The two shared a great time and whispered a whole lot of sweet nothings to each other. They even shared a romantic dance and confessed a lot of good feelings about each other!
Monday began with a lot of friction between the contestants over house duties and luxury items. Shardul Pandit pulled up the housemates for not washing their own cups. With this incident, a whole new narrative unfolded when it was found out that Naina Singh had been borrowing green tea sachets from Jaan Kumar Sanu. While Jaan dismissed it as a mild thing, Pavitra took a stand and said that luxury items cannot be given away just like that!
Upset that her things been taken away from her, Naina refused to do her cooking duties for the day. She locked horns with Eijaz while the other contestants also agreed that Eijaz was being unfair by giving a 'dandh' to her and confiscating her items. Nikki especially pointed out that he was not being a worthy captain however Eijaz stood firm on his decision. Naina along with several other housemates' questioned Eijaz's capabilities as a captain.
If the housemates thought that the worst was over after the clash between themselves and Eijaz, they were sorely mistaken. Bigg Boss decided to shake things up further when he revealed to the housemates that this time, there will be a 'Double Eviction' in the Bigg Boss house! Two contestants in the Red Zone - Nishant Singh Malkhani, Kavita Kaushik, Jasmin Bhasin, and Rubina Dilak – got nominated! Along with the audience poll, the housemates in the Green Zone were also empowered to decide who among the four will be evicted.
Finally, Kavita Kaushik and Nishant Singh Malkani got evicted out of the house. Though Nishant was part of the house right from Day 1, the latter had entered only a week ago as a wildcard entrant.
Soon afterwards Bigg Boss announced the nomination task. The contestants are given a task to be played in pairs. Each pair sits on a spaceship and then debate as to why one should be safe and in the green zone of the house, while the other should be nominated and be restricted in the red zone. A mask on the table will decide their fate. As per the red, yellow, and green signals, the contestants have to ensure that they retain the mask in their hand to make their way into the green zone.
Eager to escape the nominations, Nikki Tamboli abided with the 'by hook or by crook' mantra. She snatched the mask from Rahul, who then asked her to talk it out with him. Unaccepting of his proposal, Nikki hid the mask leaving no way for the other to win the bet. The whole house suddenly turned against Nikki and demeaned her for taking such a step, while Nikki being Nikki sportingly took the backlash and stuck to her ground, still believing that everything is fair in love and war.
Rahul Vaidya was seen crying after the fight. Others too fought their battle; the most emotional being Abhinav and Rubina's when they sat against each other.
Like they say, never take things for granted, the contestants ultimately had to face the brunt for not listening to Eijaz and disrespecting his captaincy. Bigg Boss empowered Eijaz to safeguard one of the contestants from nominations.
A big shocker came for everyone when Eijaz chose Jasmin which left Pavitra heartbroken and completely bewildered. On one hand, Pavitra was fuming in hurt and anger as she felt backstabbed and cheated, it seemed like Eijaz was following the 'eye for an eye' mantra, here. When the tables turned, Eijaz had the chance to get equal with Pavitra for nominating him in the previous episodes which had left him feeling as distraught as she has been now.
While what once seemed like affection has now transformed into hate between Eijaz and Pavitra, the emotion of love between Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni set to give the game a new twist.
On Thursday, Aly Goni entered the house as the wild card contestant. And no prizes for guessing who got overjoyed seeing him! Jasmin was the happiest and exclaimed to the house that everything will be the best from now on (Ahem!). Bigg Boss had given Aly a special task for Jasmin, going forward in the game, which will either strengthen their bond or put it to test.
In the game, Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni are asked to 'lock horns'. No, we aren't joking! So what happened was, Bigg Boss divided the house into two groups - 'Devil and Angels'. In this task, the Devils have to trouble the Angels, as they keep being patient. And the devils took the task quite seriously. Nikki asked Rubina to tear Jasmin's favourite teddy bear, in order to incite her. While Eijaz asked Jaan to insert his hand in the commode. Jaan played the game and completed the task.
Aly, who became the 'devil' in the game, tried to convince Jasmin to play fair. Aly shouted her name but Jasmin ignored him and continued to talk to Eijaz Khan. Aly continued his attempts to calm down Jasmin till he succeeded (and he indeed did!).
Now, let's talk about some (not-so) romance inside the house. Jasmin Bhasin, who is rather close to Aly become possessive about him right from the moment he entered the house! Aly was inside a glass enclosure for some time, and could only communicate with other housemates through an old-school phone. When Pavitra tried to have a conversation with Aly, Jasmin flared up!
Pavitra and Aly were talking on the phone and Pavitra told Aly that when Aly referred to her as a friend, she had some expectations from him. Jasmin got irked about this and entered into their conversation. She got angry at Pavitra for talking to Aly in a bad tone. She was clearly hurt and felt like Pavitra was trying to get between Aly and her relationship. Pavitra took on Jasmin and told her that she also knew Aly and there is no need for Jasmin to get so possessive!
Later on, Rubina Dilaik was seen fasting for Karva Chauth for her hubby Abhinav Shukla and followed all the rasams. Abhinav got very emotional about this and was seen constantly supporting her. He even sat down to design diyas for the evening when Rubina broke her fast. Bigg Boss decided to elevate this atmosphere of love and joy by giving Rubina all the things she needed to celebrate Karwachauth! She was clearly overwhelmed and broke her fast with vows of always being together with her love, Abhinav. This had the entire house become overwhelmed with emotions and there are several 'awwws'. Jasmin even blessed them by saying, 'Doodho Nahao, Pooton Phalo!'
The weekend gave another surprise when Kavita Kaushik got a chance to enter the house! However, second chances do not come easy.
Kavita had to face an expert panel that includes Kamya Punjabi, Surbhi Chandana, Vindu Dara Singh, and Arti Singh. Subjected to many questions and queries about her behaviour in her previous stint, the feisty Kavita had to clear the air before she steps inside the house again.
Jasmin and Aly's romance has clearly fired up the house. Talking about Eijaz and Pavtira's relationship, we wonder what lies in road ahead for the two, especially after Eijaz nominating her. In between, we also saw Nikki and Jaan sharing some light-hearted moments. Will Kavita's entry change the game? Only time will tell! The games inside the Bigg Boss 14 house are getting intense with each passing day.
