Romance brews between Kevin Almasifar and Arushi Chawla
With Ashish Bhatia-Sakshi Sharma and Baseer Ali-Jashwanth Bopanna gaining immunity with their big wins in the previous episodes, the wrath of elimination loomed over the remaining Buddy Pairs. Despite being at risk of bidding farewell to the game, Kevin Almasifar pitched for the immunity of Arushi Chawla and Arsh Wahi. He also went on to admit favouring Arushi over anyone else on the show. Bowled over by his gesture, Arushi called Kevin her “guardian angel” and recalled how he has been protecting her since Roadies Revolution. Sparks are flying and how!
Kevin Almasifar learns an important lesson from Baseer Ali
Kevin Almasifar found himself in a predicament after finding out that people from his own team have been plotting against him. In one of the latest episodes, Kevin was seen discussing the game with his biggest rival on the show, Baseer Ali. During their conversation, Baseer set the record straight to Kevin by saying, “Everyone’s here to play”. After a heartfelt interaction, Kevin also extended the hand of friendship to Baseer and assured him, “I’ll never go against you.” As long-time rivals turn friends, some interesting plot twists are bound to unfold in the upcoming episodes of Roadies – Journey in South Africa!
Roadies go sandboarding in South Africa, but with a twist
For one of their latest tasks, all the Buddy Pairs had to solve a crossword puzzle to navigate their way to the task location. After trying their hand at kayaking and bungee jumping, Roadies went sandboarding in South Africa as a part of their new task. The task also comprised a game of basketball, but with a twist, the perks of which included immunity from elimination for the winners!
'MTV Roadies 18’ gives South Africa an “Indian Tadka”
In the following task, Roadies were challenged to entertain South African locals with their impressive dance performances to popular Bollywood songs. To everyone’s advantage, Buddy Pairs got an opportunity to strengthen their bond through the latest task. During the dance rehearsals, Kevin was spotted flirting with Arushi as he expressed, “There’s no one who can make him dance except Arushi Chawla!” In terms of the task, Baseer and Jashwanth channeled their inner Hrithik Roshan for an electrifying performance to his cult song ‘Dhoom Again’ while Nandini and Yukti set the stage on fire by shaking a leg to Priyanka Chopra’s blockbuster song ‘Ram Chahe Leela’.
Enemies turn friends and vice versa
A lot of drama ensued during the latest vote out session of MTV Roadies – Journey in South Africa, which gave rise to some newfound friendships and newfangled animosity. After Baseer and Ashish’s bond went awry in the last episode, the duo managed to reconcile their differences and start afresh. Baseer also found a new pal in Kevin as the latter extended his support to the former in the game. However, Kevin’s camaraderie with some of the members of his team went downhill after he realized that they could target him going forward on the show!
