Zee TV took everyone by surprise when it premiered a first-of-its-kind, devotional singing reality show - Swarna Swar Bharat. A humble contribution to the Honorable Prime Minister’s noble initiative of ‘Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav - the 75th anniversary of Indian Independence,’ the show endeavors to celebrate our rich cultural heritage.

While some phenomenal contestants have already impressed the audience, this weekend, Ravi Kishan will leave everyone stunned. The popular actor will be seen dressed as the mythological character ‘Narad Muni’ in the upcoming episode. Swarna Swar Bharat uses storytelling and devotional music to celebrate Indian culture, traditions and roots, and for the special episode host, Ravi Kishan dressed as Narad Muni to share his wisdom about Indian gods and goddesses.

As Ravi Kishan revealed, “I have played a lot of mythological characters throughout my career, and I must say that I am very fond of such parts. I actually come from a village which is located near Banaras, and my father was a priest. He was the one who taught me to live life with spirituality and that’s the reason why I am so connected to our gods and Indian culture. In fact, when I got such a unique opportunity to host a singing reality show that centers around the devotional genre, I immediately said yes. To my surprise, the makers recently told me how I’ll be taking up different characters throughout the season since I am the main sutradhar, who will bind the show together through storytelling and verses. And then, when I was told I had to take up Narad Muni’s avatar, I had no reason to think twice.”

He further added, “Narad Muni was a devoted sage of Lord Vishnu, who imparted wisdom to all. Similarly, I will also be seen spreading knowledge and sharing anecdotes from our ancient scriptures to make Swarna Swar Bharat an exceptional audio-visual experience that celebrates our rich Indian culture. Shooting in Narad Muni’s avatar was really an honour, and I hope everyone enjoys the upcoming episodes.”

While Ravi Kishan’s Narad Muni avatar and act will surely enlighten and entertain you, wait till you see the wonderful performances by all the talented contestants on the show. To witness the magnificent audio-visual representation of our rich Indian culture as well as to watch the phenomenal performances of the talented contestants, tune in to Swarna Swar Bharat every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, only on Zee TV.
