Saloni, 15, plays Mona, who is the youngest member of the family.

"I am excited about this new show. This is something very different," Saloni said in an interview. When asked about her character, she said, "Mona stays quiet most of the time and bonds only with Abhishek bhaiya and no one else in the family."

Saloni's character is very possessive of her on-screen brother but in real life she says she is really close to her mother. "My mother has done a lot for me, she is the one who helped me in comedy too."

Though she is excited about doing her first fiction, Saloni says she misses comedy. "I miss 'Gangu Bai' a lot. It was my first character. I used to enjoy portraying it."

Being a stand-up comedian herself, Saloni says she is a fan of Kapil Sharma. "I have always liked Kapil bhaiya, he is my favourite comedian. So, yes I like 'The Kapil Sharma Show'."

The teenager says she doesn't let limelight get in the way of her studies.

"I attend school for half a day and then continue with my shooting. For exams, I take off."
