TV actor Manav Gohil will play an antagonist in the upcoming show, Kaamnaa. The show features Chandni Sharma and Abhishek Rawat in the lead roles. This is the first time that the actor will play a negative character. He says, “The character is interesting, yet complicated. He is charming and ambitious, but will go to any extent to manipulate people to get what he wants. This character is at odds with the kinds I’ve played before.”

He adds that he took on the project to try his hand at something new. “As a performer, getting the chance to play a complex personality is challenging and exciting. It allows me to experiment with a new space.” Kaamnaa is a story of a middle-class couple that tries to adjust with their different values and thought process.
