Govinda and Salman Khan set aside their differences to shake a leg at the Indian Pro Music League premiere. They recreated the signature steps of the chartbuster, Do you wanna partner, from their 2007 film Partner as well as recited the popular dialogue, “Itni khushi, itni khushi,” from the comic caper. Chi Chi features as mentor on the upcoming music show, and Sallu as brand ambassador. Though Khan brought him back to the limelight with Partner, Govinda later felt slighted by Khan. It’s time someone team them together again for a laugh riot.

Speaking about his professional journey, in an interview with mid-day, Govinda was quoted saying, “Earlier, I didn’t get offers at all. I want to intensely explore dark and edgy characters. But, the offers coming my way now don’t give me the creative satisfaction I seek as an actor.”

Govinda further added, “People expect a certain level of performance from me. [I cannot limit myself to only doing fun and entertaining roles like I have done in my films. On the web, I want to explore even those dark and edgy characters like the ones that are creating waves on digital platforms."

The actor concluded saying that he doesn’t want people to judge my performance or “find it lacking in any way”. “I want to play characters that people can identify with.”
