"Being a Bengali, Navratri to me has always meant Durga Puja, so when it comes to celebrating it, I feel so elated and celebrate it with so much zest. During my childhood, Navratri always implied buying new clothes, holidays from school, pandal hopping, meeting friends and catching up with my family. One of my best memories of Durga Pujo has always been about offering Pushpanjali to Maa Durga on the eighth day and keeping a fast," Sayantani recalls.
When asked how she will be celebrating this year, she adds, "This year, I will be in Mumbai and will take a day off from the shoots on Ashtami and offer Pushpanjali, have delicious bhog, wear a saree and spend the entire day with my family and loved ones and do a bit of pandal hopping."
Being a Bengali, Sayantani didn't have an opportunity to visit the dandiya nights in Kolkata, but she is making the most of her stay in Mumbai. "In Mumbai, I have had friends who love visiting dandiya nights and have taken me along. I love its vibe, and being a dancer, I have won competitions as the best dressed, best dancer, and these memories are very close to my heart. I wish my fans a fantastic greeting for the festival season coming up, wish everybody good health, and I want them to keep loving Tera Yaar Hoon Main," Sayantani signs off.
