Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya, who was the first runner-up on Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, won over the audience with her grit and ability to pull of stunts on the show. The actress who recently shed a lot of weight and is fitter than ever before, says she has always been fit, but losing weight was a challenge she wanted to take up and work on her body.

Divyanka says, “I’ve always been active, being an NCC cadet when I was younger. At the same time I was always on the chubbier side, but I don’t believe my fitness level depended on my weight. It isn’t always the slimmer people who perform stunts better. It’s your determination that counts. I’m the kind of person who puts on weight even if I stop training for a few days and that’s something I keep telling my trainer, but losing weight was a challenge I wanted to take up and work on my body. I’m just glad it is something I could achieve.”

When quizzed about where we would see her next, the actress says, “I don’t want to do the same kind of roles and repeat myself. The platform doesn’t matter as long as I get a role that challenges me, something I haven’t done before.”
