Mid Day Online met up with him for an exclusive interview for 'Diwali 2022' to know how he planned to celebrate the festival of lights

What are your Diwali plans?
I love celebrating Diwali. I will be in Mumbai only. On the day of Diwali, we do Laxmi Pooja and a variety of sweets are made at home. It feels nice and positive.

Do you believe in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali?
Diwali is a time to express your affection through gifts, so give sweets, diyas, chocolates and some clothes to our house help

Do you burst firecrackers during the festival or do you believe in sound and smoke pollution free Diwali?
Bursting crackers was one of the best things that we did in childhood but now there is awareness because of the rise in pollution so we will avoid this time. We will just burst some noise free crackers.
What does Diwali mean to you?
Diwali is one of the biggest festivals in our country. It signifies good over evil and on this day Goddesses Laxmi graces us with wealth and prosperity. On Diwali we get to spend time with our close family and friends
What new / exciting stuff have you planned for Diwali this year?
On Dhanteras we will buy something auspicious and all of us buy new clothes. I will take my son for shopping new clothes
