Are you disappointed with the eviction?
When you enter the show you expect to win but I wanted to be real. I didn’t want to win by showing that I raise issue or argue with others. I wanted and to be true to myself and that’s all that mattered.
It has often being pointed out that you stayed aloof from matters of the house…
For example if Neha Bhasin and Pratik Sehajpal are fighting I don’t think it’s right for me to interfere, at the same time I would be expected to be part of the conversation. I didn’t even know they were fighting because they are also friends. In another case, Jay Bhanushali had issues about picking up cigarette buds from the bathroom, that was an egoistic issue and I felt I should not speak up. I was in a different zone that day and wanted to spend time with myself. It’s possible that I feel asleep while thinking about something but that was not intentional. Everyone’s body type is different and I had done heavy workout that day because of which I was tired. Plus there was no task in the house that day and I was bored so I fell asleep. I also know which issues are genuine and which ones are create to be in the limelight, so I didn’t intervene.
Any contestants who you still consider your friends?
There’s no one person with whom I had a very strong bond, for whom I was the first priority and vice versa but I had a good bond with everyone be it Akasa Singh, Miesha Iyer, Pratik Sehajpal, Vishal bhai or Nishant Bhatt. However, there was nobody for whom I would get evicted or somebody I considered more important than myself. It’s not my personality to make connections just for the game.
Have you been checking out the memes made on you over social media…
Yes and that is how I am! I stay away from fights, arguments and negativity unless I find it valid. I don’t think fighting over two eggs or interfering in the fights of others is a good thing.
Salman Khan was miffed over your non-participation in the game at the last Weekend Ka Vaar …
I put in as much effort as I could. When it came to maintaining friends I was always there. I don’t like people who create issues to make news and I couldn’t be part of any such thing.
