TV actor Vishal Kotian, from shows like ‘Family No 1’ and ‘Akbar Ka Bal Birbal’, has entered the Bigg Boss 15 house. Known for his comic roles, Vishal told mid-day he plans to entertain the housemates and is excited meet his idol Salman Khan. The actor says he had been waiting for this opportunity.

How do you plan to survive through the Bigg Boss journey?
I believe the world is very much like the Bigg Boss house. You have fights and arguments but you have to live with each other. How much can you escape? I will try to handle whatever situation comes my way well, but I don’t have specific strategies. I’m very excited and not nervous about entering the show. As for managing work in the house, I grew up working to support my studies, I have washed people's cars and even toilets, so that is nothing new for me. I was waiting for a chance to be on the show.

You are known for your flair for comedy. Is that something you plan to showcase in the house?
Yes, you can’t take comedy away from me! It comes to me naturally so be prepared to see my entertaining side.

Your thoughts about host Salman Khan and veteran actress Rekha joining him this time?
I owe a lot in life to Salman Khan. I grew up in Dagdi chawl, so selling Salman Khan (film) tickets in black helped me pay my school and college fees and other expenses. People may not remember movies like Veergati but I do! I benefited more from Veergati than Salman did. I still remember paying my 9th class fees by selling tickets of ‘Bandhan’ in black. Later I managed to change my circumstances for the better but those memories will never fade. As for Rekha, she is an eternal beauty 'vishwa sundari.'
