Anupamaa Update: Utmost tensions prevail amidst the Shahs and Kapadia families, everyone’s relationship status becomes a big question mark

Will both the families be able to successfully and happily usher in the New year 2023 is what remains to be seen

The day starts off with Babuji continuing to advise Anupamaa to take care of herself and her family which consists of Anuj and chhoti Anu. Anuj ends up being extremely ‘helplessly emotional’ before everyone while he requests Anupamaa to take a new Year's resolution to concentrate on the Kapadia family more and less on the Shah family.

Gradually, all the couples of the house hold hands and walk away from there, eventually leaving Anuj and Anupamaa alone. Back home, Vanraj Shah states that there is truth in what Anuj had told them. And because it is his parents, his family and his problems, Vanraj decides not to get Anuj and Anupamaa involved in the Shah family’s problems anymore. In the same breath, he also announces his decision that he will not be accepting the lucrative job offer from Delhi. This infuriates Kaavya, who tells Vanraj that she will soon ‘announce her decision’.

Amidst all this, one sees mixed emotions amongst all the couples in the two households. Paakhi seeks forgiveness from Adhik, who decides to let the bygones be bygones and give their relationship a new start. On the other hand, Ankush drowns himself in alcohol and shouts at his wife Barkhaa for not being his strength during his testing times. Babuji tells his wife Baa that he wishes to ‘sleep forever’ rather than sleeping every night with all the tensions in his head. When Kinjal blames Toshu for everything, the latter gets angry and tells her that he has always pushed his limits to be a better person but she ignores that. In between them all, there is Anupamaa who tries to talk with Anuj. Anuj moves away from there requesting her to leave him alone for some time.

Amidst all these tensions, the countdown to the New Year gets ticking.
