"Akshay Kumar is my favourite actor since childhood and I never imagined that one day I will be able to work with him. When I got call from Akshay's office regarding my first break in Bollywood, I was in seventh heaven.
"When I met Akshay the other day, he told me that he really liked my comic sense in one of the comedy shows and he wants me to be the part of his own production," Bharti said.
In the action drama, Bharti will be seen playing an undercover agent. "I play a reporter who disguises herself as a maid to work at the residence of a gangster. My character is somewhat like an undercover agent and has got many scenes where I will be working with Akshay," she said.
After tickling the funny bones of audience, Bharti is all set to shake her leg in the fifth season of 'Jhalak Dikhla Ja'. "I always thrive to learn something different. Being a Punjabi girl, dance is in our blood. I am not trained in any form of dance but my choreographer says I have a sense of rhythm in me," she said.
The actress, who has acted in many Punjabi films, says that her 85 kg weight is not a barrier to learn dance and she could turn out to be a strong competitor to other contestants.
"I am a shy person and was scared to face camera. Initially, I also thought that I won't be able to dance but my choreographer is my life saver. He made me understand that dance has nothing to do with body weight. It is only about some technicalities," she said. u00a0
