Actor Ravi Bhatia, who plays Salim in popular historical magnum opus 'Jodha Akbar', hurt his right foot while shooting a scene.
The 26-year-old actor got eight stitches on his right foot and continued shooting his part.
"I sustained the injury when a heavy vessel fell on my foot. The doctor had to make a deep cut to remove the infected portion when I visited him almost a month later. I have got eight stitches. I guess a stitch
in time could have literally saved eight in my case.
"As the current track now focuses on my love story with Anarkali (played by Heena Parmar), I have to be on the sets and it is difficult for me to take a break. So, I resumed shoot an hour later," he said.
'Jodha Akbar' airs every Monday to Friday on Zee TV.
