Sunil Grover has finally broken his silence on being assaulted by Kapil Sharma on a flight back to Mumbai from Melbourne, where they recently did a comic skit. While Kapil, the headline act and producer of The Kapil Sharma Show, issued a public apology and called the incident 'a family matter that we will sort out', Sunil seems to be in no mood to humour him.
Yesterday, he posted his response, captioning it 'From a friend, with love', "Bhai ji! Yes, you hurt me deeply. Working with you has been a learning experience. Just one advice: start respecting human beings also, apart from animals. All are not as successful and talented as you are. But if they all are talented like you, who will value you? If someone is correcting you, don't abuse them. Refrain from using foul language… Thanks for making me realise it was your show and you have power to throw out anybody, anytime. You are the wittiest, and the best in your field. But don't act like God."
Kapil was quick to reply, though it made little sense. "Paaji dil jeet liya. Now, I love u more. Hun bada mazaa aane wala hai… packed up at 6 am after so long n missed so many things. Love u. See u in the evening at ur home (sic)." Kapil appears desperate to have Sunil back on the set of his show since he is, arguably, the most popular act of them all. Will he relent? Watch this space.
