'Ramayan' actor Mukesh Rawal found dead near railway tracks in Mumbai

Veteran television and film actor Mukesh Rawal, who is best known for his role of Vibhishan in Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, was found dead near the railway tracks in Borivli, Mumbai


The accident took place when the 65-year-old actor was travelling for the dubbing of an upcoming Gujarati film.


According to a report, the actor was hit by a train while trying to cross tracks and he died instantly. The body wastaken to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar hospital in Kandivli.

The actor's cremation will take place tonight in Mumbai.

Rawal appeared in Bollywood films like 'Zid', 'Satta', 'Auzaar' and 'Kasak'. He was also a popular Gujarati film artiste and was last seen in 2014 Gujarati movie, Sathiyo Chalyo Khodaldham.
