Rajkummar Rao is a known health freak. The disciplined actor has been following a strict diet and regime for the past few years to ensure he is in the best shape.
He is known to not have any vices and gives his 100 percent to every role.
However, in the turn of events of being most dedicated to his role as freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose, who was known to be a smoker in real life, Rajkummar Rao had to enact smoking like a pro on screen.
As a result of which, Rajkummar Rao has now got into the habit of smoking when he is off the sets too.
Speaking about it the creative producer of Bose-Dead/Alive, Hansal Mehta said, "I was shocked to see that Rajkummar had difficulty breathing in the Ladakh schedule and even more stunned to realise that in the role prep for Bose, he has taken to smoking. The man has no vices, I have seen him at his fittest best, eating healthy, sleeping early and having quinoa, however, to get into the skin of the character of Subhash Chandra Bose, he had to gain 11 kgs and also smoke onscreen. Now he has one vice, smoking!"
