Celebrities turning up on Farah Khan's television show indulge in a fair amount of tomfoolery. However, her latest guest, Rajkummar Rao, had to pay a heavy price for it. The actor suffered an injury while executing taekwondo during the rehearsal of his act on Lip Sing Battle, and was subsequently admitted to the hospital with a fractured leg.

A source from the unit tells mid-day, "Raj was rehearsing for his performance when he tripped and hurt his left leg. Initially, he thought it was a minor injury and insisted on continuing with the shoot, but, his leg started to swell up soon. That's when Farah decided to take matters into her hands and rushed him to the nearest hospital, where he was informed of a fracture." The actor, the source says, has been advised a few days' rest, resulting in the shoot being postponed.

Rao, who is currently in the midst of promotions for his next, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana, was to be part of a round of media interactions today. A source close to him says that the scheduled interviews will take place at his Andheri residence. "He won't be able to walk around, but doesn't want to disrupt his commitments. Given that he will be busy dubbing for the film next week, Raj may not have time for promotions later."
