Talking about her character, Kashmera said, "I am grateful to have bagged such a powerful role as my first break on TV. Tataka is a female asura who is killed by Rama. As we all know, Rama is someone who was extremely respectful towards women and anybody for that matter, but if he has to kill someone, you can only imagine how evil, strong and powerful that woman is. Tataka is extremely powerful asura and I'm glad to play this character."

Kashmera is also visibly excited about her look on the show. "The creative team has done a fabulous job of putting together the look for Tataka. It ain't over the top. It's simple, subtle and definitely leaves a mark," she said.

The actress recently shot for a promo shoot for the show in the pituresque jungles of Darjeeling.
