Kanchi Singh who is part of Anand Mishra and Ekta Kapoor's MTV BCL feels this is a tournament of cricket is not a reality show like Bigg Boss. Kanchi plays for the team of Lucknow Nawabs. She is a huge fan of cricket as her father RP Singh used to play Ranji Trophy for Uttar Pradesh. When asked Kanchi says, "My father RP Singh used to play Ranji and is very passionate about cricket. He always tells me one thing that cricket is a match of that particular day and how you perform. Depending on how your day is, you will win or lose. Even Virat Kohli can get out at zero. So be alert and focus on the game."
Kanchi also adds, "I used to play cricket in my childhood in my building, and I would have turned a cricketer if I was a boy! This is my second year at BCL and I just love the concept. There are few flies on the pitch which I really don't appreciate. But to me what is important is participation and we all are very serious about it. BCL is a tournament of cricket it's not Bigg Boss."
