“The role is very different, that of a coach of the leading actress in the show. My character will be seeing mentoring Dharaa (Anuja Sathe) in every important stage of her life.
“I love the fact that I’m part of a finite series, so the script and sketch of character I portray remains crisp and intact. The story is not of a typical daily soap, which keeps extending depending on the TRPs.
The storyline is very motivating and I hope we manage to get the change in the society through the journey of Dharaa,” Harsh, whose last small screen outing was on "Ajeeb Dastaan Hai Yeh", said in a statement.
Produced by brothers Abhinay and Ajinkya Deo under the banner Ramesh Deo Productions, the
show is about an inspirational story of a simple girl Dharaa who has an unconventional dream of becoming a cricketer.
Shot across various locations in Jamnagar, Junagadh and Ahmedabad in Gujarat, “Tamanna” will also feature Ketki Dave, Kiran Karmarkar and Rajlaxmi.
The show will go on air on Star Plus on February 1.
