Excerpts from our conversation:
You've spent 15 days in the Bigg Boss house and now that you are evicted, are you missing the house already?
Yes, I'm missing the Bigg Boss house for sure, but not the contestants at all. I'll try to not miss them at all.
Why so?
When I was in the house, I felt they were like a family but now that I'm evicted and I'm meeting people, I realise that it was merely a game show, wherein I was lost, didn't know where I was. And, yes, now finally, I'm out!
Are you trying to say that you felt out of place in the Bigg Boss house amongst the combination of celebs and commoners?
Yes, one can say that. I personally didn't want to get too much involved within the game because the other contestants were playing the game by wearing a mask and I entered the house with my real version. Somehow or the other, I was the one who was always targeted by everyone in the house. I'm mighty glad that I've been evicted and everything has been right in place.
Do you think your eviction is justified or you should have stayed for more longer in the house?
I thought that I'll manage to spend more time in the house but at the same time, I was also thriving to come out of that house for myself. The audience is all aware and they know who is right and wrong or what they have to do.
Who would you consider your friend in the house?
I don't consider anyone as my friend from the house. For me, everyone is the same. I don't think you can build a friendship with someone in a short span of 15 days. The friendship shown is just for the sake of camera, no emotion or relation is pure. Now that I've been evicted, I'll realise who is my real friend or who is fake.
Who do you think has the potential to win this season?
I think Hiten Ji (Hiten Tejwani) has the potential to win because he's very calm and clear in what he does and has the capability to tackle everything. There's still two to two-and-a-half-months to survive in the house, wherein everyone will end up losing their patience level but Hiten ji won't lose it.
You were hardly visible in the house, why was that so?
I tried my best for it but I don't know what Bigg Boss has shown to the audience. There were many inmates who were going way too extreme in their actions to be more visible on the television screen. And I'm glad that they showed them because I cannot act for the sake of eating footage.
Were you heartbroken when the contestants made personal attacks on your hygiene?
I felt that the celebrities, who were already in the house, started feeling complex from me. They knew what the game plan was and I felt that I entered the house and everyone started putting me down. And I couldn't hear all the talks about me that were happening behind my back and even if I heard, I have this logic of hearing only what I want, or else I give a deaf ear to it.
Now that you've lived in the house with celebs and had superstar Salman Khan as a mentor, has your notion about them changed?
I always knew that Salman Ji is a very good and humble person. He's very clear in his mind and takes apt decisions, was aware of all of this about him. But the new people that I met inside, I never wanted to know much about them because I don't want to judge anyone, everyone is playing accurately at their place. This is a game-show, I should have played it like a game but I stayed my true self and therefore I think I got evicted. People only get to see the double faces and fakeness of contestants in the house.
You've said that you've remained yourself in the house without any filters, so was your equation with Luv real or only for the cameras?
My equation with Luv in the house might have looked real but it wasn't. It was showed in such a manner that people were forced to believe there's something brewing between us. Had my feelings for Luv been real, I would have committed to him in the house itself. Even Luv would have committed to this relationship, but there was nothing from my end and his end too. Luv and I had a conversation regarding this and we made it very clear to the inmates that this 'relationship' discussion had to end and no more jokes about it.
How did you feel when Salman Khan used to sing your songs for fun?
I would feel very happy. He would really enjoy and sing my songs. I want that people who sing my songs should be very happy and I really feel good when I become somebody's reason for happiness.
Ex Bigg Boss' controversial contestant Swami Om says that he you are an ardent follower of his and your song 'Selfie Maine Le Li Aaj' is written by him for you?
I've definitely heard his name but apart from it I don't know him. I've never spoken to him nor have I met him, and I would never want to meet him.
You said that Bigg Boss is a stepping stone to enter Bollywood, have you received any kind of offers from the film industry?
I've just been evicted. Let's see what future has in store for me. Future is very unpredictable. For instance, I came to the Bigg Boss house, got evicted also. Never thought all this would happen. However, if I get an opportunity to get into Bollywood, I will try my best to get inside the film industry.
You created raps with Akash Dadlani on the show. So, do you see yourself collaborating with him for any future albums?
Let's see if we cross paths after his eviction. If I'll be in a mood to meet him then I'll meet or else I won't.
Would you consider taking any of the Bigg Boss inmates in any of your upcoming albums?
No, I wouldn't take anyone.
On the scale of 1-5, how would you rate your stint in the Bigg Boss house?
I'll give myself a 5 because everyone has their own level of tolerance and a level of performing in the house. Unlike others, I cannot ask others to apply cream on the back (Was she hinting towards Priyank Sharma, he's got cream massaged on his back by other female contestants in the house) or pin someone to show that I'm very strong and a good person. Whatever I could, I did. I won't go to an extreme level of faking up things.
