Akhlaque Khan has joined the cast of the second season of popular show "Na Bole Tum... Na Maine Kuch Kaha" as the grown up Tanu and says he hopes to add to its popularity.
A romantic drama about a young reporter and his love for a widow with two children, "Na Bole Tum... Na Maine Kuch Kaha" was quite popular during its run last year. Kunal Karan Kapoor and Akanksha Singh played the leads in the show, which was wrapped up in October 2012.

"Honestly, I didn't know how popular the last season had been. It was only when the first season ended, and I saw people's reactions, I realised its popularity. I was already shooting then for the next season. But now I do take it as my responsibility to make sure I add to the popularity," the 28-year-old told IANS.
The actor explained his character of 'Tanu', played by Nirav Soni in the previous season, has changed in the second season, which went on air Jan 14.
"The character has changed. Previously the character was negative. Right now it is a more positive and even romantic," he said.
Seen in different kind of shows like "Crime Patrol", "Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam", "Na Aana Is Desh Laado" and "Love U Zindagi", Akhlaque doesn't want to associate himself with only one genre.
"For me, the most important thing is that the role has to be challenging. According to me, the role must require my talent. I enjoy all genres. So, I don't want to stick myself to one genre. This is my challenge as an actor," he said.u00a0
