He might be one of the busiest actors around but he, too, takes caution when needed. As per Amitabh Bachchan’s request, the upcoming season of Kaun Banega Crorepati will have limited episodes and will be shot in Yash Raj Studios instead of Film City.

A unit hand says, “Last year it was hectic for Big B as well as for the crew as two episodes had to be shot in a day. This time around, he has asked us to slow down because of his health.”After his stomach surgery last year and early this year, Bachchan has not taken up too much work. He’s keeping a check on his health as he recently complained of backache and opted for endoscopy too.

“We have decided to do only 36 episodes and for his convenience we are going to change the location of the shoot,” the source adds. Says Bachchan, “Yes, I believe that the set is now at Yash Raj. It is convenient for everyone to travel as Film City is very far.”

However, Sneha Rajani, business head of the channel, maintains, “We are going to shoot in Yash Raj Studios not due to his health as he does not say no to anything nor does he interfere in anything. We are shooting in Yash Raj for better facilities. We wanted to shift the location for the past two years but it was not available.”
