Veteran director Tatineni Rama Rao (T Rama Rao) passed away at 84 on Tuesday night in Channai. He had been suffering from multiple health issues and was admitted to Sriramchandfa Medical College in Chennai. His last rites will take place on April 20.

Rama Rao directed several Hindi and Telugu films, In 1966, he made his directorial debut with the Telugu film 'Navarathri Dorababu,' 'Aalumagalu,' 'Pachani Kapura,' 'Naseeb Apna Apna,' 'Watan Ke Rakhwale' and 'Jeevana Tarangalu' were among his popular films.
