Even as Thalapathy Vijay's latest film 'Leo' continues to create magic at the box office across the globe, fans of the actor were treated with another exciting update on the occasion of Dussehra. An update on the actor's upcoming film has been shared by the makers.

Tentatively titled 'Thalapathy 68', the film will be helmed by Venkat Prabhu. The director is known for hit movies like 'Goa', 'Saroja', 'Maanaaadu', 'Mankatha', and 'Chennai 600028'. On Tuesday, the makers dropped the video from the pooja ceremony. The film will mark Venkat Prabhus' 12th. In the video, Vijay is seen dressed in a maroon polo t-shirt and interacting with the team of the film at the ceremony.
The video also unveiled the names of the complete cast and crew who will be working on the film. Alongside ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay, the film features Sneha, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Laila, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Mohan, and Ajmal Amir in pivotal roles. Additionally, Venkat Prabhu’s frequent collaborators, including Vaibhav Reddy, Premgi Amaren, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raj, will also play crucial roles.
The music of the film will be handled by Yiuvan Shankar Raja. Siddhartha Nuni will be heading the cinematography department. Rajeevan, Venkat Raajen, and Dhilip Subbarayan will oversee production design, editing, and stunt choreography, respectively. AGS Entertainment is bankrolling the project, marking Venkat Prabhu’s 12th directorial venture.

The film went on floors earlier this month. Announcing the beginning of the shoot of the film, Venkat Prabhu took to X and wrote, "And it began!! #Thalapathy68 with all ur love and wishes!!! This is gonna be a fun roller coaster ride!! And all pics and updates after namma #Leo release!! God is Kind”
Earlier, while officially announcing the film, the makers wrote, "Thalapathy68 is going to be an entertainer that will be loved across all audiences. It will boast of the best technicians of global standards and the highest production values."
