Vinod Khanna passes away, 'Baahubali 2' team cancels Mumbai premiere

'Baahubali 2' Mumbai premiere scheduled for tonight has been cancelled following the demise of veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna. Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the news

'Baahubali 2' Mumbai premiere, which was scheduled for tonight, has been cancelled following the demise of veteran Bollywood actor Vinod Khanna.

Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Twitter to share the development.

Karan Johar tweeted, "As a mark of respect to our beloved Vinod Khanna the entire team of Baahubali has decided to cancel the premiere tonight..."

Vinod Khanna passed away on Thursday in Mumbai after suffering from cancer.

He was 70. Vinod Khanna was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital on March 31 with severe dehydration.

The hospital authorities refused to share the reasons for his demise. 

According to sources, Vinod Khanna breathed his last at 11.20 am today due to advanced bladder carcinoma.
