SS Rajamouli’s RRR is clearly one of the most keenly anticipated movies ever since it has been announced. After Dosti and Naacho Naacho, the makers are all set to drop the third song from the album tomorrow and it’s the soul anthem of RRR, titled Janani. Mid-day.com got a special preview of the song ahead of its release. Here are the five things you can expect from this track:

The Emotions

There couldn’t be an anthem without emotions, and Rajamouli has mastered the art of blending imagination with emotion, grandeur with grit, and that’s precisely what he does this time too, after Eega and the Baahubali series. Every actor aces the nuances and nails the part.

The Ensemble

The song gives you a glimpse of Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Junior NTR, Ram Charan, and Alia Bhatt. They all dive into the magnum opus of the filmmaker and it seems like they all will be presented by Rajamouli like never before.

The Scale

SS Rajamouli’s brand of cinema cannot be complete without scale and sweep. In RRR, which is arguably his most ambitious and audacious piece of work, he has taken the stakes and scale higher. The set pieces and war sequences have been shot with detailing that will surely dazzle you. Every frame speaks volumes of his perseverance and perspiration. His vision deserves the celluloid and nothing else.

The Lyrics

The lyrics have been penned by Varun Grover and the song, even though talks about the motherland, never reeks of jingoism or forced patriotism. This is one track that’s likely to leave you teary eyed.

The Tune

No words can be magical if not accompanied by a tune. MM Kreem weaves a haunting melody that could be remembered for long. When the song plays out in cinemas, hearts could be heavy and eyes teary.
