Stand-up comedian Chandan Prabhakar, who was seen on Kapil Sharma's comedy show as Chandu Chaiwalla, is wielding the directorial baton for a Punjabi film.

Not many know that he began as a director for a Punjabi comedy show, 'Laughter Da Master'. He is now keen to go back behind the camera. It makes sense considering Sharma's show has downed shutters.
