The Mungaaru Male actress, who recently launched her web site, reveals she's been flooded with proposals from fans

Pooja Gandhi's web site is getting her a lot of attention of the wrong kind. The petite actress says she is inundated with shaadi offers from her fans.

"I enjoy reading their (fans') offers and I reply to them, saying marriage doesn't figure anywhere on my list of priorities right now," she grins.

Why did you decide to launch your web site?
I wanted to get feedback for my films from fans, so I thought a web site would be a good idea. When Globo Sport approached me with the offer, I took it up. They handle the technical details of the web site.

Has the web site helped you find a boyfriend?

(Laughs) No! I am fed up of, 'Pooja, will you marry me?' kind of offers, but there are many fans, who have said nice things about my film roles.u00a0

Would you describe yourself as a tech-savvy person?
I am not on Face Book or Orkut, though I enjoy surfing the web. I have been spending 3-4 hours every day on my laptop ever since my web site was launched. My laptop, my digital camera and my cell phone are my constant companions. I also carry my DVD player with me when I am on outdoor shoots.

You've finally dubbed for yourself in Huchchi and Ninagagi Kadiruve. How did it feel?
I like Kannada and when I finally got a chance to dub for myself in Huchhi, I was thrilled. I wrapped up the dubbing in for four days, and for Ninagagi Kadiruve, I took 12 days. It took a lot of effort to get the pronunciation right because I am a Punjabi. But we've been in Bangalore for two and half years now.

You've signed up for a comedy. Are you tired of heavy-duty romances?
I am looking for challenging roles. The comedy seemed like a good idea. I am also doing B Ramamurthy's Rani Maharani, where I play a double role like Malashri in the original.u00a0

Aren't you afraid of comparisons with the original Rani Maharani?
It's an honour to be offered this role, and the script is new, so I'm sure it will be a great experience.
