Jungkook released 'Seven' yesterday - a song about loving one's lover right, all seven days of the week. ARMYs have been going gaga over the stunning risque visuals in the music video!
Jungkook was invited to open the American morning show 'Good Morning America's' famous annual Summer Concert Series on July 14 local time. The artist was originally supposed to join famed artists like Hozier and Carly Rae Jepsen for the show
Jungkook endeared himself to his fans even more with his cute 'Good Morning America'! For the soundcheck, he was simpky dressed in a white t-shirt, classic black hoodie and jeans
Latto, one of America's hottest rappers, also featured in the song. While she couldn't be there for the live performance, she posted a photo with Jungkook. JK said it was 'amazing' working with Latto and spoke about the musical synergy between them
The artist was slated to perform live in Central Park, New York. However, the concert was ultimately cancelled due to safety concerns stemming from possible lightning and thunderstorms in the area, which could prove hazardous at an open music venue
However, Jungkook is not one to let fans down! He pre-recorded and taped his performances so that fans could still enjoy the performances. Several ARMYs had waited in line for days to catch a glimpse of the artist live
JK seems to be enjoying himself to the core! He treated audiences with a live performance of 'Seven' as well as captivating renditions of Dynamite with an all-new choreography and a live-band version of 'Euphoria'. We are in 'euphoria' listening to Jungkook!
Indeed, we are getting Euphoria flashbacks! Remember Jungkook's all-white prince look during the song's live performances back in the 2018 BTS Love: Yourself tour?
He wore an outfit consisting of loose gray pants, a white t-shirt, and a matching short-sleeved button-down shirt. Jung Kook took to the stage with a team of talented male dancers and a full band. He brought a fresh summer vibe to stage and swooned audiences
Jung Kook sat down with Good Morning America for an interview, providing insights into his and Latto's collaboration on 'Seven'
The interview was moved indoors following severe thunderstorms. Translator JuJu Chang helped overcome the language barrier. Jung Kook thanked ARMY, for their continued unwavering support and praised Latto for her unique contribution to the track
Shy Jungkook has come such a long way! From cutely hiding behind Namjoon during old English interviews, the artist is now not only acing his solo interviews with confidence, but also became an instant favourite with GMA interviewers
And...the hearts keep on coming! Jungkook invented this iconic heart during a recent livestream following the annoucement of the release of 'Seven.' He also posed with this heart at the Incheon airport - and now he has roped in meteorologist Ginger Zee as well!
Even after his exhausting schedule, Jungkook turned on a livestream after his performance to spend more time with ARMYs. He dug into a delicious-looking strawberry cake - and the raised eyebrows say it all! We hope this energized JK, considering he said he was running on two hours of sleep!
Jungkook also said that his throat was not in the best condition, and that he felt sorry that he couldn't show his best for ARMY. "I saw many people came from afar waiting in tents and such, but (I) felt a bit regretful it wasn't a completed stage"
Jungkook also thanked his Seven MV co-star, 'World of the Married' actress, Han So-hee. He said that she gave him several acting cues, which helped to polish the final product. "Han Sohee-ssi was the female lead role and she helped a lot during filming...I relied on her a bit and I think she helped me a lot so I could do well...it came out well thanks to her," he said
